About Us
Charisma started in December 1987, and we have stood the test of time. The Salon is run by Kay and she employs four staff, all of whom are part-time and live locally. The salon is open five days a week and offers more than just Hair. We have a lovely, relaxing beauty treatment room, and a manicure station. As well as this, we offer chiropody and ear piercing.  We have reduced prices for children and the retired, and as well as this we offer home hairdressing on a temporary or permanent basis for those who cannot get to the salon because they are ill or cannot drive anymore. We are also keen fundraisers and love to suppport local charities.
Our Team
Hi, I am 30 years old. I have 3 gorgeous children and a partner of 14 years. I love going to my Nans Caravan, at Walton on the Naze, with the children in most of the half terms. And I also enjoy spending time with the family. I have worked at Charisma since I was 13 years old. Since having had the children,I just work part time.
Hi, I am 25years old. I live in Markyate. I've worked at Charisma since November 2007. I have qualified in levels 1,2
& 3, which covers men & women's hairdressing. I enjoy all aspects of being a hairdresser-colouring; perming; cutting etc.
A little bit about myself: I have a dog named Rodney and a housecat named Buddy, I am sure they act the opposite.
I also like helping my boss raise money for various charities (particularly Keech Hospice Care), by baking lovely cakes, making Truffles and making teas & coffees and running Tombolas.
I have quite a few hobbies-like car shows; pool; baking; bingo; jigsaws and word puzzles. I like socialising with my friends, and going to the Gym, but most of all-spending time with my family..
Hi, I have been hairdressing since I was 16. I did a 3 year apprenticeship at Wendy's Salon in Harpenden (1 day release to Barnfield Hairdressing College in Luton). I then moved to Luton, and worked at Richard Anthony Salon in Leagrave. From there, my father-in-law helped me set up on my own. I took over a salon in Dallow Road called Carole Ann. After a year or so, we bought Barbara Ann Salon in Elm Avenue, Caddington (now called Charisma). I have been here for over 27 years. I now live in Caddington with my husband, Martin, and stepson, Joe, and 2 cats.
I enjoy raising money for Keech Hospice Care and Breast Cancer Care. I have held many garden parties, and I also did a Sky Dive for Keech. I help Father Christmas when he comes to the village on the Smiley Sam Keech Train.
I love Caddington, and try to take part in as many village activities as possible, and give support where ever I can. Long may it remain a lovely village.
